We serve customers in four different states, including Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana and North Carolina. Our service area in Northern Illinois begins at our office in McHenry and radiates throughout the entire Chicagoland region. It extends up into Southern Wisconsin to cities like Milwaukee and Madison. We also have a strong presence in Indianapolis, IN, Raleigh, NC, and the metro areas surrounding those cities.

How long have you been in the business?

Our owner, Steve Staley, founded Renowned Building Solutions in 2014. However, he had been in the industry many years prior to starting the company. It was long enough for Steve to realize that the exterior renovation industry was lacking in one key area: customer service. He didn’t like how some roofing companies would shortchange customers with a poor product at a high price. Therefore, he made customer service his new company’s priority. All these year’s later, we’re still making a difference by putting our customers’ needs first.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes! We carry all necessary licenses and insurances for the services we provide and the regions we serve. We’re a licensed unlimited roofing contractor in Illinois and a licensed dwelling contractor in Wisconsin. Our work is completely bonded and includes workman’s compensation, general liability insurance and umbrella insurance.

Do you install seamless gutters?

Yes! Seamless gutters are the only type of gutter we would ever install on a home. This is because seamless gutters are much less likely to clog or leak than gutters with seams. We can also create them on-site to perfectly fit the dimensions of a home for incredible form and function.

How do I know if my home has been damaged by a storm?

Storm damage isn’t always immediately noticeable. Still, there are many symptoms to watch closely for after a storm. Keep an eye out for torn, dented, missing, cracked or peeling shingles on your roof and water damage from leaks on your ceilings. Your siding can also display signs of damage, such as cracks, holes or peeling paint. Other signs of storm damage can include dented gutters and suddenly drafty window frames.

The length of a project will depend on its type and scope. A residential roofing project for a standard-sized home takes between 1-2 days. Most commercial roofing projects also take 1-2 days, though they can sometimes take weeks or months for larger buildings or apartment complexes with multiple roofs. Siding and window projects typically last no more than two days; however, getting the materials for these projects can sometimes take a while due to recent supply chain issues. We can install seamless gutters on a home in less than a day.

How does the process work, from quote to project completion?

All our projects follow a simple, stress-free process for our customers:

First, we provide a free detailed initial inspection and quote. This first step will also include assistance with a storm damage insurance claim if it’s warranted.

Next, you can choose the type and color of materials you would like us to use for your project. We’ll then review a detailed contract with you, and you can sign off once you’re comfortable.

After this, we’ll schedule a time for installation and complete the project to your exact specifications.

Finally, we’ll review the completed project with you to make sure you’re satisfied and perform thorough cleanup to leave your property spotless. You can always call us afterward if you notice any issues, and we’ll come back to make things right.

Yes! We provide five-year workmanship warranties. If any issues should arise with our renovations, you can call us, and we’ll return to make the repairs free of charge.
